Hello everyone, this is supposed to be a quick post about two brushes for eyes, very different from each other and therefore not comparable, but that left me breathless.
The first is a brush with natural bristles in H & M
Use as you can see from the photos is of medium size, suitable for use in the eyelids and eyebrows, and possibly top if used as a "smudger" to blur the lines or pencil in the crease eye.
The application is very easy, takes color well and provides good preparation.
Product Quality: the bristles are made of natural fibers, shaped like a cat's tongue extended, do not bite, but rather as a brush is very soft to skin contact.
The handle is not long, compared to 239 such as the Mac, but it's thin and light.
Regarding the quality I can say that after several washings has lost neither color nor hair, they do not break and remain in place. No need to
Brush Guard to keep in shape, even if I use the same to keep the bristles together nice and compact.
The second brush is instead the most famous 224 MAC, all at least once we heard about it!
Use : a brush is the most essential and versatile, the main use is for the eyes as "Blanding brush (to fade) colors, or how to apply the darker colors in a very lightly.
It can also be used to spread the concealer on dark circles and imperfections that, having a really good and well shaded.
Product quality : I have purchased with the Magic, Mischief and Myrth Christmas Collection of 2009-2010, in Morning, Noon, & Knight Everything Eye Brush Set, on the advice of the job the store, convinced me that since the 224 alone costs 30 €, so while I would have had 5 to 60 €.
Regarding the quality of this brush in a special edition, I can tell you, well after a year, which is extremely poor compared to the high standard of normal MAC brushes!
Unfortunately now it was extremely poignant, impossible to use on the eye makeup and I assure you that other people I was politely asked to change the brush because it hurt (so it's not just my opinion)!
hairs still break all the time and the worst and most puzzling, given that the price of the kit (60 € !!!!!!!) is losing a color between black and fuchsia, indeed even the same spot Brush Guard.
Here are the pictures:
In conclusion, I can tell you that prefer granlunga a simple brush of € 1.95 H & M rather than a Mac Low quality limited edition (paid elite of money)! On normal
MAC brushes I have nothing to complain, they are excellent and high quality (made in Japan unlike the Special Editions made in China) but those from Kit than to be cut (badly) in the car, not even in line with those in the original version, both in shape, cut, both for its high quality.
The conisglio to you is to not spend so much for this kit because the price - quality ratio is extremely low; Spend quite normal for one or two brushes, or a Brush Set Zoeva or other brands more affordable, but do not give you nasty surprises.
I can not tell the Sigma because many say they lose color.
